Midday sun turns a $1,500 Garmin into a black mirror. I built this visor because I was squinting at my own FishPro's screen between casts. After multiple on-water prototypes, this is the shape that works — it shades the screen from above and both sides, so the sonar stays readable from any angle, all day.

Undo the finger screws

Loosen the two factory finger screws on either side of your fish finder. No spanners, no drill.

Drop the visor over

The visor's side wings line up with the factory screw points and hug the screen housing.

Screw back down

Re-tighten the same screws through the visor. Done — it's not going anywhere, even at full throttle.

Which fish finders does it fit?

It's designed around the factory-mounted Garmin units on the Sea-Doo FishPro range (Trophy, Sport, Scout) and Explorer Pro — anywhere the screen is secured by the two side finger screws. Different unit or custom mount? Email a photo and I'll confirm fit or make a custom size.

Will it survive sun, salt and full throttle?

Yes. It's made from ABS — the same tough, UV-stable plastic used for car interiors. It bolts down with the factory screws, so it won't rattle loose or fly off. Rinse it with fresh water like the rest of your ski.

Which colour blocks glare best?

Black, by a clear margin — it absorbs stray light instead of bouncing it onto the screen. It's our most popular choice. Other colours still shade effectively and look great if you're matching your ski.

How long until it ships?

Each visor is made to order, which takes 2–4 business days. Then it's a tracked Australia Post service: typically 2–8 business days within Australia, and roughly 1–3 weeks internationally depending on your region and customs.

Can I get a custom logo or my boat's name on it?

Absolutely — that's the Custom Logo option. Upload your artwork right at checkout (or send it through later), and I'll set it up and confirm a proof with you before production. Simple names and logos are included; very complex artwork may cost a little extra, which I'll confirm first.

What if it doesn't fit or I change my mind?

Returns and exchanges are accepted — just get in touch. Buyers cover return postage, and items should come back in original condition.

Is this an official Sea-Doo / BRP product?

No. JetSkiVisor is an independent Australian accessory maker. Sea-Doo and its logo are trademarks of Bombardier Recreational Products Inc.; product names are used only to describe compatibility.
